The STEM + Computing Partnerships (STEM+C) program seeks to advance a 21st century conceptualization of education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) that includes computing, both as a STEMdiscipline in its own right consistent with the STEM Education Act of 2015, which explicitly includes computing as a STEM discipline for purposes of federal programs [1] and as a discipline integral to the practice of all other STEM disciplines._

Training-based Workforce Development for Advanced Cyberinfrastructure

The overarching goal of this program is to prepare, nurture and grow the national scientific workforce for creating, utilizing, and supporting advanced cyberinfrastructure (CI) that enables cutting-edge science and engineering and contributes to the Nation’s overall economic competitiveness and security._ This solicitation calls for developing innovative, scalable training programs to address the emerging needs and unresolved bottlenecks in scientific and engineering workforce development of targeted, multidisciplinary communities, at the postsecondary level and beyond, leading to transformative changes in the state of workforce preparedness for advanced CI in the short and long terms. U-M Automotive Research Center

The Automotive Research Center is a U.S. Army Center for Excellence for modeling and simulation of ground vehicles led by the University of Michigan. The center is soliciting proposals for new or continuing work with a start date in 2018. These are single proposal with one PI who is responsible for project funds and reporting requirements.
