HPC Summer Boot Camp, presented by XSEDE and the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center
University of Michigan Satellite Site is hosted by the SC2
This event took place from June 14-17 at the University of Michigan Duderstadt Center. In this 4 day event participants learnt about hybrid computing including MPI, OpenMP, OpenACC and accelerators.
The event concluded with a special hybrid exercise contest that challenged the students to apply their skills over the following 3 weeks and be awarded the Third Annual XSEDE Summer Boot Camp Championship Trophy, and a brand new Tesla K40 GPU.
