Associate Professor, Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences

Research

Prof. Kiedrowski’s research focuses on the development of advanced algorithms and software for the solution of the linearized Boltzmann equation applied to particle transport for a broad range of nuclear applications. Specific activities include the effective combination of Monte Carlo and traditional numerical algorithms to leverage advantages and offset drawbacks of each. We target these algorithms to emerging high performance computing environments.
