I am interested in developing high-throughput computational optical imaging systems – that is, imaging systems that synergize large-scale, AI/ML-driven reconstruction algorithms with highly parallelized and multiplexed imaging hardware designs. Our imaging systems will have orders of magnitude higher spatiotemporal throughput than what conventional imaging systems can offer, enabling measurement of biological phenomena previously challenging or impossible to measure.
