A public registry of machine-reachable scientific problems

The Atlas

Open scientific questions whose decisive evidence already exists, organized by field. Each entry states a question, significance, an answer shape, and a verification path. We begin with a modest number of problems. In collaboration with the scientific community, we eventually plan to map 1000s of such problems.

At the present time, all these problems are open. As the community explores these problems, we are open to refining the problem statements (in which case, there will be a version marker).

We note that the Atlas is model-agnostic and community governed. We will soon be releasing a policy on how we admit cards, how we adjudicate revisions and solutions, how reviewers are credited, and how conflicts and dual-use problems are handled. Suggestions on all these fronts are welcome.
