#SciFM25: Scientific Discovery in the Age of AI

2nd Conference on Foundation Models and AI Agents for Science

May 28-30, 2025

Rackham Building, 915 E Washington St, Ann Arbor, MI

The #SciFM25: Scientific Discovery in the Age of AI is the 2nd conference on foundation models and AI agents for science, following the highly successful SciFM24 conference. The event will feature world-renowned experts delivering engaging talks, thought-provoking panel discussions, hands-on tutorials, and interactive workshops. This is a great opportunity for professionals and enthusiasts to engage with the latest developments in foundation models and AI agents for science, and exchange ideas with leading minds in the field.

This conference focuses is on foundation models and AI agents for science. Scientific foundation models are parameterized physical theories that are usually trained on a broad range of scientific data and capable of being applied to a range of downstream tasks, such as discovering patterns and generating scientific hypotheses, insights, and engineering designs. AI agents are autonomous systems designed to support scientific research by generating hypotheses, designing experiments, and analyzing data, enabling efficient integration of complex datasets and provide insights to accelerate and enhance the research process.
