This session will be held online, and presenters will be in touch with more information after you register.
Geostatistical approach models spatially correlated continuous random phenomenon for robust estimation and prediction. The approach is common across different fields in applied science where continuous phenomenon is observed at a few locations in space and the task is to estimate it at un-sampled locations.
We will use R to explore and develop an understanding of variogram and kriging and how they can be used for robust and unbiased interpolation of data over space.
This workshop will be offered remotely via BlueJeans.
