The Advanced Computational Science & Engineering Showcase (ACES) mini-symposium is an event that promotes the MICDE Catalyst Grants’ state-of-the-art research and the current trends and hot topics in computational science and engineering. Topics such as computational fluid dynamics, integral equation methods, evolutionary biology, astronomy, energy grids, neuroscience, quantum chemistry, quantum computing, and generative AI, to name a few. Furthermore, it is the nucleus for increasing collaboration at the University of Michigan by offering an opportunity for faculty members to share their ideas and network during a reception.
