The 2016 INCITE Call for Proposals opens April 15 and closes June 26. Through an annual call for proposals, the 2016 INCITE program will deliver more than five billion core hours of compute time on two of the nation’s most powerful high-performance supercomputers for fundamental research: the IBM Blue Gene/Q (Mira) systems at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF), and the Cray XK7 (Titan) system at the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF). Typical awards average around 75 million core-hours.

In preparation for the open call for proposals, the INCITE program invites you to participate in an INCITE Proposal Writing Webinar, offered on April 9, 2015, and repeated on May 27, 2015. Free and open to the public, the webinars will provide both prospective and returning users the opportunity to get specific answers to questions about how to write an effective INCITE proposal.
