Methods for efficient simulations of quantum many-body problems are essential for theoretical studies of physical and chemical systems where quantum effects are important. These simulations either take the form of solving the high-dimensional Schrodinger Equation for wave functions that represent all information about the system or as high-dimensional optimization problems whose solutions represent the energy of the system. This work will develop faster scalable computational tools to solve higher dimensional quantum many-body problems. The novelty of these tools lies in their ability to simultaneously exploit low-rank and locally multi-scale structure via continuous tensor networks.
