The University of Chicago Department of Statistics invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Computational and Applied Mathematics (CAM) at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful applicant will be a member of the interdisciplinary Committee on Computational and Applied Mathematics (CCAM) and join other Statistics faculty who support the graduate programs in CAM at the University of Chicago. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Completion of all requirements for the PhD in applied mathematics, mathematics, statistics, or related field to computation and applied mathematics by the time of hire.
Preferred qualifications:
- At least one year of university-level teaching experience, such as, but not limited to, a TA or instructor of record;
- At least two years of experience as a postdoctoral researcher.
