Portrait of Aaresh Bhathena

Background

My research focuses on developing efficient algorithms for large-scale optimization problems in machine learning and statistics. I study how structural properties of these problems can be leveraged to design scalable methods with strong theoretical and statistical guarantees. These algorithms are motivated by applications in forecasting, signal processing, and the inference of biological networks.
