Relaxation Oscillator based Solvers for Combinatorial Optimization Problems: Algorithms and Hardware

Workflow of our physics-inspired hardware solver that directly maps a combinatorial optimization problem (e.g., SAT or LDPC decoding) onto an energy landscape.

This project will develop new algorithms and hardware for solving combinatorial optimization problems. The team will expand its relaxation-oscillator-based SAT-solver hardware and algorithms to broader classes of optimization problems, with multiple-input, multiple-output decoding serving as a primary application.
